These engine combinations would be outstanding in your car, street rod, truck, 4X4, or marine application. These engines are built with the factory cast iron blocks. These unleaded fuel-compatible engines come completely assembled, with valve covers, timing chain cover, oil pan, harmonic balancer, flex plate and intake manifold. The engines are completely remanufactured in our state-of-the-art machine shop by professionals from start to finish. The performance combinations were developed from our proven, race-winning experience.
New parts include:
- Sealed Power hypereutectic pistons and rings
- Competition Cams performance camshaft
- Fel-Pro gaskets
- Clevite 77 rods, main and cam bearings
- Melling high-volume oil pump, pickup screen and driveshaft
- Valve guides
- Pioneer harmonic balancer, flexplate, performance valve springs, brass freeze plugs and bolts
- Melling push rods
- Double-roller timing set
- Professional Products polished dual-plane intake manifold (non-EGR)
- Chrome timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, dipstick/tube and breather
- GM valve locks/retainers
Five Star machine work:
- Engine block, cylinder heads and crankshaft are thermally cleaned, shot blasted, and Magnafluxed
- All crankshafts and reground, oil holes chamfered, and micro-polished
- Thorough cleaning including all oil galleys, engines are absolutely clean inside and out
- All blocks are bored and honed using torque plates
- New cam custom fitted
- Connecting rods fitted with new bolts and resized
- Rotating assembly Sunnen computer balanced. (balance sheet included)
- All cylinder heads are completely remanufactured, including new guides, new seals, and performance 3-angle valve job.
